Timberline Board of Directors
Connect with the BOD!
Highlights from May's Board of Directors meeting
Meeting Date: May 17th, 2018
- Huge congratulations to our Director of Education, Emilie Wood, for completing her Masters program!
- Wit and Wine fundraiser planning has begun ramping up. Please let TLC Administration know if you would like to help! Areas of need typically include finding sponsors, auction items, and volunteering during the event which includes set-up and post-event clean-up shift options
- TLC had a large number of staff attend the Successful Child Conference in Keystone. Teachers are bringing back some fantastic actionable information, which they are excited to implement in their classrooms. This was shortly following TLC's widely positively received first annual Art Night. We are impressed by, and thankful for the teachers' highly engaged participation in both of these things!
-We would like to welcome Aaron Ness to the Board as a new Member!

We are a school for young children from ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Our approach is Reggio Emilia inspired. The following principles guide our approach and curriculum: The child is an active, strong, competent collaborator in the evolution of their learning. The teacher is a guide, rather than an instructor, who observes, questions, researches, documents, reflects, and interprets. The classroom is a teacher unto itself! The relationships that develop between the children, their families, and the teachers create opportunity for growth, reflection, and support. Long-term projects are at the core of our program, using the children’s interests, and the teacher’s observations, as the guide.
